No Jean Jackets!

Friday Night

After my hair appointment last night I came home and made a random meal with:

Layers!

• Spinach bolani
• Greek yogurt
• Tapatio
• Portabello mushrooms (sauteed in garlic oil and maple syrup hee hee)
• Spinach

Then Nicole and I went to Kohl’s to look for a jean jacket. The theme for our group at Monterey Beer Fest is jean on jean and I really wanted to bedazzle something like this:

We didn’t find anything so we headed to Orange Leaf and Ross. Again, nothing! But at least we got some fro yo :)

I saved a bit of melted fro yo and combined Corn Flakes + almond milk to make a peanut buttery/oreoy cereal bowl. GENE-YUHS.

Saturday Morning

I woke up, did some laundry, and then set out on a run. This time I did my route backwards and decided to loop around Almaden Lake. There was a triathalon going on! Can you see the tents in the distance?

I completed about 7 miles without even realizing it! The weather was perfect, nice and crisp! My average pace was 7:50 and it was juuuust right (a la Goldilocks).

Now it’s go time! Have to pack up lunches and curl my hair for a day in Monterey with friends!

Question: What are your Saturday plans? Do you like sleeping in on Saturdays or Sundays better?

I prefer sleeping in on Sunday!
