Good afternoon! I just got back from my “Language, Society, and Culture” class and I liked it so much better than I did the first day! My professor has a British accent and apparently a really good sense of humor, so learning the material will be fun, hopefully.
I’ve been super busy at school, but here are a few peeks into what I’ve been up to.
Snacking
The usual…
Spinach, Arugula (!!!!), Chickpeas, Red Onion, Carrots, Corn, Egg Whites — and some nooch & dressing added in my room. Oh, and a Diet Coke. Sue me, I need caffeine.
Cheerios, All Bran, Chocolate Protein Powder… I eat this prob 5 times a day.
Greek Recruitment
I don’t have any pictures from the Row or anything like that (because we aren’t allowed to use our phones), but here I am multi-tasking like a Bo$$. Eating post-workout while blow-drying hair… I think I’m sorority material?
I wish I could write more about my whole experience so far, but it’s all confidential, folks! I will say that I am having a blast so far– meeting people is so much fun and I love being introduced to each house. I can’t wait till Sunday (pref and bids).
Doing Homework
It’s not all fun and games snacks and dresses!
The study room… looks dark and daunting, but it’s actually awesome!
Comfy chairs and couches and a full table.
AND A VIEW! Come on, it doesn’t get much better than this.
I’ll be back soon (hopefully) with some interesting content about what I learned in my Nutrition/Exercise class yesterday! I’m excited to share the knowledge :)
Now I’m off to Writing class…

I’m so excited for you!! I went to school in LA myself (LMU) and loved it! Sorority recruitment is so much fun but definitely overwhelming so just remember that you will end up where you are supposed to be! I know it sounds silly, but it’s so true! And if you end up in my sorority, then I’d be happy to call a sugar coated sister my sister ;) My best friend was Greek at USC too and absolutely loved it so I’m sure you will too! :)
Ahh I know I’m trying to be patient through the recruitment process, but I just want to know which house I will be in already! Then the real fun can start :)
Good luck dear! Btw, I forgot that one of my best friends was a Pi Phi at USC, but she transferred to SD to get her MBA this year. :)
