Dropping in for a real quick post!  Last night I went with Allison to her sister’s house in West Hollywood.  We stayed the night there so we could leave straight towards the Bay Area in the afternoon.

Our late night cravings brought us to Subway… $5 footlong veggie delight for the win!

This morning, Allison and I walked to The Grove to get breakfast/shop around.  First we stopped at Starbucks though… I needed my coffee fix.

First holiday cup of the season!

We walked and saw some cool sites around West Hollywood…

[this food truck sounds amazing... eggs on eggs on eggs]

[America!]

For breakfast, I got an omelette from a random breakfast/lunch place in the cute farmer’s market area next to The Grove.

Allison was more adventurous and she got a really cool pizza-like thing with egg and sausage.

[not sure what type of cuisine this was, but it was new to me.  what makes "borekas"?]

[she should be the food blogger... she is much more adventurous!]

[the veggie one looked amazing-- Lauren, let's recreate this!]

Then we went shopping, but we didn’t buy anything.

And now we are heading home!  Sorry if there are typos…

See ya from Da Bay.

  3. I still haven’t had my first holiday cup of starbucks yet! It’s a shame. I really want to try the peppermint mocha though. I wish I could also try some goods from an egg truck! I’ve actually never had anything from a food truck but they fascinate me. One day!

  4. Wow. I love that thing that looks like broccoli bread pizza. You should TOTALLY try to recreate it.
