Bring on the Thunderstorms

I’m about to board the plane to Miami, just watched the end of a riveting Sharks playoff game, and have THUNDERSTORMS to look forward to in just a few hours! It’s actually thundering/lightning-ing (?) right now in San Francisco, strange coincidence?

I feel so at ease because I was able to run at lunchtime. It’s good to run around for an hour before boarding a red-eye flight. Don’t you agree?

I literally ran to Best Buy to pick up a few last minute camera accessories, dropped the gear off at my desk, and continued on a beautiful trail.

When I got back to work, I dived into the turkey burger salad I made, ate some fruit on the side, and realized that the camera battery charger pack I bought can charge nearly anything – seriously, so many attachments!

My roommate dropped me off at the Caltrain station, which I took to BART, which I took to SFO!

SFO’s new terminal is so green!

I appreciated the fact that they have mountain spring water fountains :)

In addition to noticing their green airport marketing pieces, I also saw lots of cool billboards ;)

I sat down near Cat Cora’s restaurant – near but not IN. I wanted a good view of the Sharks game aaaand my gate, which was fine. Until…

This couple sat down for dinner right in front of me. I’m sure they appreciated me staring at the TV screen directly between them…. and I bet they were a little jealous of my snacks!

That, my friends, is “magic mix” – kashi cereal, goldfish, trail mix, peanut m&m’s, extra cashews. This mix will get us through the thunderstorms!
