Instie-Friday

Jacquelyn calls Instagrams “Insties” and since I heard her say it a few times in Costa Rica, that’s what I call them now when I’m thinking in my head (does that make sense?). Here’s a collection of Friday photos, a few Insties, and some captioning:

Non-Instie: part of the overly sweet Special K granola bar I ate, while laying out, and talking to Nicole on the phone at 11 am:

Instie: lunch with my dad at BJ’s to catch-up and wish him a very happy, but belated, birthday. He turned 52 while I was in Costa Rica! I ordered the lunch barbecue chicken salad and he chose a 1/2 salad, 1/2 turkey BLAT sandwich.

Instie: buy sunscreen!!! We are going rafting tomorrow and I don’t want to have another horrible sunburn to worry about. All that only cost $32, so I’m hoping Walgreens brand is just as good/effective!

Instie: applied said sunscreen and went for a 1 hour run/hike around the beautiful Quicksilver trails.

Non-Instie: dinner at Kyle’s – had one of his homebrews that became “ready” today (a pale ale of sorts and totally delicious) along with a turkey burger patty on some of my lunch leftovers.

Instie: went to Kyle’s soccer game and cheered everyone on with Adrienne also on the sidelines. I missed Kyle’s goal while in the bathroom, whoops.

Non-Instie: after the game, Kit, Adrienne, Krissi, Kyle, the ref, and myself went to Antonio’s Nut House in PA for a few pitchers and peanuts. Get them free from a cage with a fake ape, enjoy, and don’t clean up after yourself!

Instie<: this bathroom sign made me laugh out loud, which is weird because I was in the stall laughing loudly by myself......
