Yesterday afternoon, I finished the last final of my sophomore year!

It’s hard to believe that I’m already halfway through college… it’s both exciting and scary at the same time. Though I was sad to leave LA, I was also eager to move back home for a few months.

My dad was nice enough to drive 6 hours south to help me move back to NorCal. BTW, 4 girls packing up their stuff = a big mess!

The move itself went pretty quickly, especially considering my room was on the third floor of the sorority house. Lots of stairs, lots of boxes, and definitely a good work out!

One last drive down The Row and we were outta USC-land.

We were fortunate to get on the highway at the perfect time. Considering it was 4:15 PM, it was a miracle that there was no traffic.

We stopped a few times for gas, Taco Bell, and to take turns driving. I made it home by 10 PM, filled my room with all my stuff, and enjoyed some quality family time before heading to bed.

Ahh, my bed.

It’s good to be back.

Today, I unpacked some boxes, went to the gym with Lauren, and cooked/baked for 5 hours. We made a HUGE feast in honor of David’s birthday, and the food and company were fantastic. More on that later, but here is a little teaser…

You won’t wanna miss the recap :)

Hope you are enjoying your week! TGIF!!!
