Moonlight Mover

Hello, Tuesday! This week kicks off a bizzzzzy month for me: trainings in SF, MOVING!!, trainings in NEW YORK!, unpacking, research stuff in SF, and then Eurotrip! It’s all happening all at once and I’m just going to go with the flow.

I did not take many pictures over the weekend while camping in Shasta, but had a great time soaking up the sun with our big group.

I spent about 7 hours on the speed boat, went tubing for a little bit, convinced the boat to stop for ice cream at the marina, ran 7 miles along the lake, sparsely used TP ;) haha, roasted marshmallows, and enjoyed some good camping-friendly meals (everyone liked the enchilada cake, too!) On our way back to the Bay Area on Sunday, we all stopped for a 2 mile float along the Sacramento River near Chico (aka the boozy float location for CSU Chico kids on Labor Day). Needless to say, the shower I took on Sunday felt soooo good.

Back to today…

Nicole also took the train up to SF this morning (don’t you recognize her hand?). She is working a day at her company’s SF office, while I sit in a 3-day training at Adobe learning more about Site Catalyst. Fun!

Back to last night…

After taking the return train home, I loaded up my first car load of stuff for my move to Mountain View! This was me, at 8 pm: PEACE OUT SAN JOSE.

I am moonlighting as a mover – I finally unpacked Load #1 at 10 pm last night. (I really like when moonlight is used as a verb, by the way. The concept of “working a second regular job after your normal work shift” really took off in the late 1950s FYI). Tonight we’re moving the big stuff with a U-Haul. Maybe I’ll sleep there tonight?

Back to today…

Panera catered today’s breakfast at Adobe, with oatmeal bowls and fresh berries:

Lunch was a little classier than yesterday’s Togo’s sandwich + chips… a plate full of mixed greens with lemon baked trout almondine, green beans, and a small square of Asian glazed tofu:

That one little tofu bite was so good!! Too bad I was the last one through the lunch line and that’s all that was left :(

Question: if you could moonlight as something, what would it be? I’d go with the baking biz, duh. Aww that reminds me of 2 Broke Girls. Can’t wait for that show to start back up!
