I made it to Vegas!
At the airport, I sat at a Starbucks for about an hour and waited for another teammate’s flight to arrive. I haven’t has Starbucks in a while… Now I remember why I used to drink it 5 out of 7 days of the week. Good stuff.
Troi and I split a cab to the Palms Place, dropped off our bags, and change into our swimsuit.
The pros of getting to the hotel before the rest of the dance team… Extra time for this:
….though I overdosed on sun after about an hour. I’m not used to this heat!
After the pool, it was time for some lunch at the Palms casino food court. Say it with me… “classy.”
Then we went back to the pool for a few hours. Now we are checked into our rooms and headed to a surprise dinner.
Btw, we are in the best suite room at the Palms Place… It’s amazing! Full laundry machines and double shower head showers.

Ohh that looks like an awesome first day in Vegas! Pool time is the best but it can def get way hot out there! And a surprise dinner? Can’t wait to hear about it!
