After Thursday’s Roller Disco festivities, Friday morphed into doctor visits, x-rays, work, and late-night baking with Nicole. Damn, we work so well together in the kitchen!
The Mockingbird – vanilla bean cake, vanilla buttercream AND Totally A Twixster – chocolate cake, caramel filling, chocolate fudge frosting, chunks of Twix® bar
Our step brother requested mini cupcakes, in two Boo Radley’s Cupcakes flavors, for his and Amy’s wedding on Saturday. We still need to sort through pictures and write a summary post of their special day, but here are 3 teaser pictures:

I slept in on Sunday (much needed!) and took up my roommate’s lunch offer for my 1st meal. Tejo is juuuust moving in now, as he recently returned from a trip home to India. I joined him and his girlfriend, Lin, at the well-hidden, über popular Maruichi on Castro Street (downtown Mountain View) for Part One of quality roommate time.
T’was busy! Luckily they had a fast turnaround on the wait list!

Cold noodle bowl. Pretty tasty and unbelievable portions! Nev-er-end-ing noodles.
Tejo highly recommended this Japanese noodle house – and I can see why. Everything was authentic, service was alright, and their menu had a few options I want to come back and try!

Monday morning I went to the cast-man and got this beauty put on:
It should match my bridesmaid dress just fine. :( I’m so happy that my thumb is free! The inner cavewoman in me is jumping up and down with the ability to still type with all 10 fingers…
Ready for an “awwww” moment?
Kyle prepared a week’s worth of lunches for me to have at work since cooking left-handed is sure to be a challenge. :) Love him.
Chicken, brown rice, veggies, dried cranberries… Perfect lunch!
Mid-afternoon snack included a fun size Snickers, banana, coffee, and water.
I wish water tasted better.

Part Two of quality time with roommates happened tonight. I worked a bit later into the evening to make up for cast-time, which meant rescheduling dinner with Miranda to a later date. (Sorry!) On the flip side, I had enough time to celebrate my other roommate’s birthday!
Happy Birthday Kevin!!
We all got together for orange creamsicle & vanilla ice cream cake that Julia (Kev’s girlfriend) made.
Freakin’ delicious! Krish and I both enjoyed two slices… #YOLO lol
Since “moving in” July 9th, I think this is the first time I’ve felt like I “live” here with these guys. And I like it! Maybe we’ll be the new Three’s Company? But opposite? Haha
Three’s Company Toooooooooo…….. :)
