You GUYS… this weekend was a special one! Another dance performance, the first football game, and bid night for the new DG pledge class. I was a good little blogger and took lots of photos, so get ready for a couple long posts ;)
Saturday-
I woke up and got into full dance hair/makeup because we were asked to perform at the USC Band’s tailgate. The band at USC is a pretty big deal, so this sure was an honor.
Their tailgate was Hawaiian theme (appropriate because the football game was against the Rainbow Warriors of University of Hawaii), so we all wore hibiscus flowers.
I don’t have pictures from the actual performance because we didn’t bring our phones, but it was a good number of people and we got some free food :) College students looove free meals.
After the dance performance, it was dancing time… ROUND TWO.
Ahh… tailgating… and boys that try to photobomb.
As usual, the Coliseum was filled to the brim with cardinal and gold.
Touchdown after touchdown, USC reigned victorious 49-10. Talk about a great way to start the season! I posed with one of my best guy friends in his awesome A.N. shirt after the game. And he threw up a Gamma without me even asking.
I’d say tailgating was a success, both on campus and on the row.
The fun didn’t end there, though. Exhausted from the full day of activities, we spent the rest of the night at my friend’s apartment just hanging out.
He lives on the top floor of the new apartment complex by campus. See that bright light on the left? That’s from the coliseum! You can see the scoreboard from his balcony. And the buildings on the right? That’s campus. It’s such a good location and I already told him that we are going to come back time and time again.
Overall, the first game day reinforced my love for crazy days at USC. It’s good to be back.

Aw it looks like you are definitely acclimating to being back! How fun that your dance team was asked to perform again and that you then had a tailgate and football game right after! Lots of USC love! LMU doesn’t have a football game so I missed that part of my college experience but everyone seems to love it!
