This week has been one of those weeks where things seem to drag on…
Homework only makes the situation worse…
But frozen yogurt helps…
I’m really anxious because I am driving home today and I can’t wait to be back in San Jose. I’ve been in LA for six weeks and it’s due time I head back to my roots.
I just had breakfast (oat bran/banana/greek yogurt, green tea, and a multivitamin) and I’m all packed up for the journey. All I have to do is get through 3.5 hours of class and then I’m homeward bound.
On the Agenda:
Thursday Afternoon: drive home with two of my DG besties (Charlotte and Lindsey) and one of my roommates (Allison). a full car will be a lot more fun than driving solo!
Thursday Night: sleepover at my house
Friday Morning: my friends will go up to their hotel in SF and I’ll enjoy a day at home (laundry, hanging with family, etc.)
Friday Night: commute up to the city for the Pretty Lights concert in SF with some USC friends
Saturday Morning: brunch with Lauren, my mom, and David to fuel us for the USC vs. Stanford game! Last year, David and my mom visited for the Stanford game and watched USC face defeat in a triple overtime. We all have high hopes for a USC win this year!
Saturday Afternoon: tailgate with the USC cult Trojan Family and then it’s game time!!! *predicting some USC victory inserted here*
Saturday Night: maybe hangout with friends in SF or have my friend Hanah visit and stay at my house in San Jose
Sunday Morning: soak up every last dose of family time possible
Sunday Afternoon: meet up with my friends and drive back down to LA!
Sunday Night: finish up any homework before classes on Monday… rough

It’s going to be a busy, busy weekend and I can’t wait!
Here’s to hoping we don’t hit too much LA traffic when we take off at 4 tonight :/

Shoot, that sounds SO jam-packed. I’m hoping to try to find a friend/make a friend date in Philly this weekend, if only to get out of the house during college football. I wish I had a standing appointment for all of football season with…. not my apartment. Love my beau, but YEESH can that guy watch some football!
I can definitely TAILGATE for some football, but watching it all day… that’s a different story. Maybe I’ll sneak home for a bit too, your post has me a bit nostalgic for mommy time…
