Short and sweet post for you!

I slept in slightly this morning and, consequently, moved my workout to after work. Nicole politely poked fun of me for including “selfies” on our blog, so I’m retaliating in this post. Muahaha.

Week 1 – Wednesday (my 12-week workout plan)

Scheduled: bike to work, track intervals: 8x400m sprint with a lively 400m jog ‘rest’ in between

Completed: Yes, I biked to work! I also made it through the sprint intervals – although my legs felt like plywood! On the treadmill:
1. half mile warm up
2. 400m jog @ 6.8 mph/8:49 minute
3. 400m sprint @ 8.8 mph/6:49 minute
4. Repeat 2+3 for a total of 8 sprints

Sweet Spot: Not to only bring up TV or anything, but I watched Hart of Dixie on Hulu during my run and that was fairly entertaining… but really: I finished the 8th interval and felt like I could keep going (nature calls though!) Speedwork is a necessary evil for any runner that wants to be faster, so bring it on!

Sticky Spot: Basically all of it. Running on tired legs is a challenge!

After the sweaty treadmill time, I showered, put my work outfit back on, and hopped on my bicycle for some natural hair blow drying.

Ready for another one Nicole?

The V-neck isn’t that dramatic!

Ok, I’ll stop.

Just after I started my laundry, Kyle arrived for date night. We planned a good one!!

First up: Chipotle BOGO!

That’s Cheryl Burke as in Cheryl Burke of Dancing With The Stars!

Strawberry and Peanut Butter Fudge gelato aka PB&J in gelato form. Brilliant!

Question: Ever taken swing dance lessons or any other type of ballroom class? DWTS fan? (Our mom LOVES this show and can predict the judges’ scores with 100% accuracy!)
