Anybody catch the debate last night? I was off learning the basics of Lindy Hop, but I watched two debate-friendly clips on Hulu this morning:

Week 1 – Thursday (my 12-week workout plan)
Scheduled: 40 minute tempo run; ballet this evening
Completed: on the treadmill…
- 5 minute walking warm up
- 10 minutes at 7.2 mph/8:20 minute
- 20 minutes at 8.2 mph/7:19 minute
- another 10 minutes at 7.2 mph/8:20 minute
- quick cool down
I’m 100% going to ballet tonight too!
Sweet Spot: The painful (but in a good way) foam rolling after the tempo run.
Sticky Spot: The pace? I originally planned out 7.4 and 8.4, but realized I must have been out of my mind!!! My goal is to be faster, but I need to get a dose of reality and ease into it. This is just week 1 of 12 and I really don’t want to burn out! I stopped the treadmill 5 times to catch my breath… This might defeat the whole point, but I was stubborn and didn’t want to lower the pace.
Coffee, check! Now breakfast….
Question: What would you wear to a “Mexican Fiesta” themed party? Something warm or cute or funny, but out-of-the-box. This is all I can think of…
