Today has been filled with a lot of school pride. It feels like a lot of days at USC are like that, and I definitely am not complaining!

At noon, I met with a few girls from the Trojan Dance Force to support the men’s basketball team. They were having an open practice, so fans and students gathered to watch them run drills and practice games.

We were able to sit in the fancy chairs on the court, just feet away from where we sit during real games. I can’t believe season starts in a few short weeks! Time is flying.

Of course we snapped a photo with Pat Haden, the awesome athletics director.

Then it was time to move on from one sport to the next. I changed into my game-day gear for the USC vs. Colorado Buffaloes football game.

Fanny pack, check. White game-day skirt, check.

I went to meet my friend at his frat and ended up going to the football game with about 8 guys. Let’s just say, I learned a lot about the rules of football, the referee gestures, and the Pac-12/SEC rankings.

For the first time this season, we had a home-game that wasn’t boiling hot. The cloudy skies provided a perfect amount of shade for the spectators. USC made a lot of touchdowns throughout the game, which was exciting; however, the real excitement was the breaking of two records!

First up, Matt Barkley broke the Pac-12 career TD pass record. It was a big deal and everyone was all smiles.

Soon after, Robert Woods beat a record of his own.

Talk about an exciting day for some of the star players!

The final score was 50-6, which miraculously beat the 40.5 point spread.

To celebrate, I went to the gym… ok, not really, but I had some energy and there wasn’t much going on. The big USC gym closes on game-days, so I had to go to my apartment complex’s miniature gym dungeon. It is 80 degrees with no windows or bathrooms.

I walked 7 miles while watching “No Strings Attached” on Netflix. I just got a one-month free trial, so I need to watch as much as possible ;) Ashton Kutcher might have a bad history, but man, he sure is attractive.

I hope your Saturday was just as good as mine :)

Q4U: Any Netflix recommendations? I think I am going to start “Friday Night Lights” soon.

Hey Ellen! They sell them at the bookstore :) Lucky for me, my friend traded me one of her extras for my bike tire!
