Workout Roundup

Today has been such a good day! I woke up at 11 (oops…), made a tasty brunch (spinach and broccoli omelette with toast and jam), and then went to Starbucks for an afternoon pick-me-up and some magazine reading.
Caffeinated and happy, I walked over to the gym to get a little workout in.
Well, it turned out to be one of those awesome workout days. I ended up running 7 miles at an average pace of 9:10. It felt GOOD.
Now I’m quickly eating a pile of spinach, topped with a veggie steamer, an egg, and half a cup of egg beaters while blogging. I need to hurry up and put on makeup and curl my hair because I’m dancing at the men’s basketball game vs. Minnesota tonight. I hope we win!
As always, the rest of the week’s workouts:
This week was full of awesome, sweaty dance practices, a good amount of miles, and a few moves with the weight machines (for the first time in a couple months).
Saturday
- 3 mile run *outside!*
- 55 min incline walk
Sunday
- 45 min incline walk
- 25 min bike
- 1.5 mile run
Monday
- 2 hr dance practice
- 3.1 mile run
- 20 min bike
Tuesday
- 2 hr dance practice
- 35 min incline walk
Wednesday
- warmup: 10 min bike warmup
- 2 mile run (8:49 average pace)
- 3×12 seated leg press, leg extensions, leg curls
- 2 mile run (9:05 average pace)
- cooldown: 1 mile walk
Thursday
- 2.5 hr dance practice: we had a guest choreographer and learned a super fun hip hop routine to this song. I can’t wait to perform it!
Friday
- 45 mins elliptical
