Workouts and Stuff

The rest of my day at my grandparents’ house was fun! I went for a run with the sweetest bulldog ever and then out to dinner with my dad. We went to what he called “the nicest restaurant in Glendora,” T. Phillip’s. This place was poppin’! It was so packed that we had to sit outside. I ordered a big salad and a lot of curly fries. And a ton of water. This place had the hugest water glasses.
Time for some workout talk because this has actually been a great week on the fitness front.
Sunday – Pasadena Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon (still obsessing about how beautiful this run was)
Monday - 4 mile run (felt great to shake out the sore muscles)
Tuesday - 3.1 mile run (morning workout surprisingly!), danced at women’s bball game
Wednesday - a few minutes of biking and then a 2 mile incline walk (morning), dance practice, zumba!!!
Thursday – dance practice
Friday – 2.25 mile run (morning… I was on a roll this week.)
Saturday – hike/run with my dad and a couple hours later, a 4 mile run with Titus, the bulldog. he ran 12 minute miles and I tried to keep up ;). 27 running miles this week!
Sunday – this afternoon was the big USC vs. UCLA basketball game. It was SO MUCH FUN, I guess that’s what happens when fans actually show up to games………. anyways, USC lost, but our dances killed it. My dad enjoyed the game and treated me to Chipotle afterwards.
Then I met some marketing buddies for a group project, and then I got started on homework. Gotta love Sunday nights (…….not).
Time for a new week. It’s the last week of dance practices!

Oh my goodness, my parents are SC alum and totally were at that game! They were bummed by the outcome, but loved the energy (and I’m thinking your dance crew had something to do with it :))

It was such a bummer considering USC beat UCLA a few weeks ago :(
But yes, the spirit was out of control! Definitely the best game of the season to perform at!
