Happy Saturday! We hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Today we are dedicating this post to our favorite person in the entire world- our beautiful mother! Today is our mom’s birthday… so basically a world famous holiday.
MOM: (Because we know you read – even if you don’t admit it)…. Happy birthday! We hope you have a great day in Groveland!
Just a few reasons that we love you:
You are absolutely gorgeous and have always emphasized the importance of beauty and brains. You’re the perfect example.
You have a great sense of humor and we will never get sick of your full body laughs or “high five… that was a good one” jokes.
You had to deal with raising these two divas. You deserve a lifetime achievement award for that!
You are selfless, supportive, and helpful. Remember when you woke up super early to drive to the Salinas Half? Then you walked in the freezing wind and waited a few hours to cheer at the finish? You’re the best.
You put up with all of our annoying blogger tactics. Posing with food and taking selfies have become the norm and you always roll with it. Thanks for that.
You have taken us on numerous trips around California, throughout the US, and to Europe. You’ve made us love traveling, especially those random one-day trips. You’ve also made us appreciate the Monterey Bay Aquarium more than anyone else.
You are caring, genuine, thoughtful, and so hard-working. You are a great role model and we can’t imagine a better mom.
You are an optimist that always tries to see the positive in a situation. Whether it be snowshoeing in the freezing snow, sitting in traffic, or planning things last minute, you always have a realistic perspective and offer smart solutions. You’re our go-to person anytime we need help or advice.
You are loving to those around you. You care about others’ feelings and always make sure people are happy.
You are comforting and the best snuggler (Nicole can vouch for that).
You are extremely inspirational. You balance work, home life, fun, managing the household, and you are an endurance athlete.
Basically, you’re the best mom out there. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! WE LOVE YOU!
