While laying out in the sun-drenched pool at Treasure Island on Saturday, I reflected on how this Vegas trip is so unlike my previous ones. I went au naturel – no spray tan, no waxing, no highlights, heck I barely shaved my legs. I welcomed the lack of “plans” and (for the most part) left coordinating with club promoters to my friends. It was awesome. Since I only took a handful of photos, all I have to do is borrow the photos from Facebook :)

If you read Nicole’s post, you know that she spontaneously bought a flight to Vegas 9 hours before take-off. I’ll fill in the gaps…

Friday Night
- arrive at hotel (Elara, by Hilton Grand Vacations) around 5:30 PM, check in, shower, eat, drink
- leave for Marquee, fail to bypass line (erg.) and then go with Plan B
- let Krizia into hotel room at midnight, get sleepy, bet Kerry and Krish $50 each that I’ll take a power nap and meet them at Margaritaville
- fail… wake up around 3 and join Aubree and Emily in the spa bathtub for a foot soak
- go to bed at 4:30?

Saturday Day
- sleep in, make oatmeal and coffee
- Nicole arrives at our hotel room, proves she is the bold sister by taking shots that I couldn’t stomach
- Kerry’s bf Matt discovers Mio + beer = magic
- walk with Nicole to Treasure Island and then go to the pool
- get a late lunch at TI’s Pho restaurant… YUM
- taxi back to our hotel

Saturday Night
- shower, eat dinner, get our green on, pre-party
- take photos!
- go to Tryst (classic standby)
- dance as long as I can, but get hungry/sleepy around 2 and head back to the hotel
- I think I fell asleep with my hand in the Goldfish container

  1. I’m glad you had fun! I’ve never been to Vegas, and I really have no desire to. I’m so not a party girl. haha.

  2. I’ve done Vegas several times with either family, friends, the husband, and each time was a different experience. I enjoyed aspects of each one, but didn’t really like the whole club scene thing. I never actually made it into a club (hello lines and everyone holding the VIP ticket), except Coyote Ugly and that was just eh. I’m more of a eat the food, watch shows and swim at the pool kind of gal. :)
