OUR STORY
It all started when Chloe and Tabby moved in together in late 2020. Within weeks they had both been dumped (not by the same person, they hasten to add!) and the flat was feeling pretty sombre. Tabby was dumped particularly brutally, over text, so Chloe did everything she could think of to cheer her up. Her last-ditch attempt was showing Tabby some weightlifting videos on TikTok, and trying to convince her to have a go. Tabby is weirdly strong, and can lift Chloe above her head, so they filmed a couple of challenges and posted them online. After about 4 videos and a whopping 8 views (combined) they realised they had run out of tricks. By that time, they had seen a whole host of music, comedy and amazing artistry taking place on TikTok, so pondered: what is truly the best way to heal our heartbreak? The answer: write a funny song about it and post it online. So they did. They woke up the next morning and the video had gone viral with people demanding a ‘Part 2’. They made a part 2 and 3 and 4 and never stopped!
It might seem like this new career venture came out of the blue, but the reason they knew writing a funny song would heal them was because that is how they have dealt with many things throughout their lives. The sisters used to be in a folk-pop band, led by Chloe, and almost their entire discography was made up of revenge songs about her exes and people that had wronged her (with Tabby singing harmonies, of course). Their teenage years were spent performing at music festivals all around the country and they even won a BRIT Class Act award when they were 15 and 17. The band broke up as everyone grew older so it is such a joy to be back wielding their guitar and double bass doing what they have always loved!
